The base features two narrow, full-height pullouts: one at each end of the island that are cleverly concealed by what appear to be fluted columns with decorative capitals. The pullout behind each column has three adjustable shelves which are excellent for storing spices, cleaning materials, breads or tins of tea. The unit also has a large two-door cupboard underneath, which can hold one adjustable shelf, as well as one wide drawer over the cupboard. Using wood from managed forests, this English Country antique-inspired furniture piece dresses up any kitchen! Achieve Old World style in your home at a very reasonable cost!
